Protein-Packed Breakfast Pot
If you struggle to find time to fit in breakfast due to hectic mornings, then this protein-packed breakfast pot is perfect to eat on the go! Easily made the night before and popped into the fridge, screw on the lid the next morning and eat on the train or with your morning cuppa at work. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, it kick starts your metabolism and fuels you with much needed energy, helping to curb unhealthy cravings.
Full of protein-rich yoghurt, chia seeds and nuts, layered with antioxidant rich fruits, this delicious pot will have you jumping out of bed in the morning!
Natural yoghurt (or a dairy free vegan alternative)
Chia seeds 2 tbsp
Pistachio nuts 1-2 tbsp
Chopped almonds 1-2 tbsp
Sunflower seeds 1-2 tbsp
Handful of strawberries chopped
1 kiwi chopped
Seedless black grapes, chopped
Agave syrup or maple syrup
Spoon the yoghurt into the bottom of your pot and sprinkle the chia seeds on top. Then layer on the seedless grapes, followed by the sunflower seeds, more yogurt, agave syrup, kiwi fruit and nuts. Continue with the layers until you reach the top of the pot and then decorate with remaining fruit and chopped almonds.
* Other tasty layer options could include: healthy oat granola, pecan nuts, cacoa brownie pieces and alternative fruits. As long as you have a mixture of yoghurt, fruit and some crunch, anything goes with this delicious pot! Enjoy folks! :) X
